I feel so empty right now…It literally feels like part of me died when Pixie Hollow closed  😦 

I want to keep fighting, but I am so depressed right now. Maybe I just need some time away before moving forward…Maybe clear my head a bit. I can’t lose hope that Disney might reconsider and reopen the Hollow once they read the petition and emails.

Here are some comments from the forum fairies I wanted to share concerning the closure:

Lila Starshine: I hope the petition will at least encourage them to develop a new Pixie Hollow. I don’t care if it doesn’t save any of our info or even look exactly the same. Change is good, but total termination is very bad!

Jenny Hollybell: Guys, I called them. All of their people have been fired already and they’re only staying until Sept 19 to close the game then they’re all gone. Disney doesn’t like them anymore the guy said.

Liri Driftwood: I hate to be a wet blanket, but don’t get your hopes up too much, guys. As much as I am really sad that PH is leaving, this isn’t the first time Disney has done this (shut down a game to concentrate on other games and more $$). I believe when Jenny Hollybell said everybody has been fired and is only staying on to keep the game running until the 19th. $$ is at stake here which is a powerful decision maker.

Ashley Driftblossom: They replied to my email, “Hi, I really wish I could say that the petition will help, but unfortunately it will not. I am glad to hear that you believe in Fairies. I do too. I hope you waddle on over and check out Club Penguin. I know that a lot of our Fairy friends will be heading on over so I bet you find a lot of your friends. Thanks for being part of such a wonderful experience. Sincerely, Jen.”

Everyone’s been asking me about the future of this blog: Will I shut it down? Will I keep posting? It’s too soon to give an honest answer. I would love to say that I’ll keep this blog active and post on it whenever I can, but the whole reason for me creating this blog is now gone…

Obviously, if they bring Pixie Hollow back, I’ll definitely keep posting, but I’m just not sure how I want to move forward yet…I’ll keep you posted.

In the meantime, let me ask you – my wonderful readers – if I were to keep this blog open, what would you want me to write about now that the Hollow is closed?

    I’m totally sad now. My life is over. Pixie Hollow is the only website that I wanted to stay. I wish they knew what they’re doing is breaking their fans hearts. I want a real reason why they’re closing. I want Pixie Hollow back.

                We haven’t given up on Pixie Hollow returning, it’s just that there’s no new news to share – just rumors. Plus, we tend to chat in the newer posts instead of this one. My blog will stop allowing comments and replies on older posts after so many months, so it’s best to comment in the newer posts if you want answers.

                What are you doing to help the hollow reopen? Are you still calling and emailing Disney? Please share.

          Don’t worry! I believe they are re-opening in January! People have been playing since 2006, they can’t just say we are done! I just got a membership 3 days before they ruined our lives so I’m with you. I’ve played since 2011, and it has been my life, come home, homework, Pixie Hollow. And Club Penguin is not even Disney! They have to bring the most rated game back.

            I agree! Club Penguin isin’t even their idea, and i also used to play CP but to be honest, they ruined it! Thats why i began playing pixie hollow, and i had been playing since 2011! January! it’s not right for them to close all of THEIR MMORPGS but keep open a game that’s NOT EVEN THEIRS!!!! THEY HAD TO BUY IT THEY DIDNT NEED TO IF THEY FOCUSED ON PH THEYD HAVE SOOOOOO MANY MORE PLAYERS AND MONEY ITS THEIR FAULT AND THEY DONT CARE HOW MUCH THEIR HURTING US THEY JUST CARE ABOUT MONEY DO THEY EVER EVEN STOP TO THINK ABOUT WHAT WALT DISNEY WAS ABOUT AND WHAT HE WOULD HAVE WANTED?!?!?!?!?               they should have at least re-opened the hollow, like what they said to lots of people to get a HUGE riot out of us!!! we need to talk to Disney to save the hollow,because I still have hope in the hollow,most people have just exepted the fact that it closed. but guess what?! they said they would RE-OPEN THE HOLLOW TODAY!!!                 Oh, yes. But they DID say in the wiki that Disney has confirmed PH’s reopening, but they removed that part somewhere around Jan.20, so that officially means that Disney took back the confirmation. 😦

                I was there 4 the last minutes in the hollow. It was 3:32 pm,September 19th,2013. I was flying around,group messaging “bye,see ya,fly with you! :(” and then, BOOM!!! It was gone. I cry every time I think about it. I feel like a part of me is gone,it’s like, is it really gone FOREVER?! I’m SOOOOO sad now, well,guess this is goodbye to my pixie pals. 😦 , unless you guys help re-open the hollow by doing stuff like calling Disney (if you know their number) then say “will u weopen Pwixiehollow?” In a baby voice (and no,those “Ws” are NOT typos). 🙂

                Hey, if anyone’s listening, please read this message. thank you. I found a way to play PixieHollow.com WHILE IT’S CLOSED! 😀

                ok, first you need to go to Disney fairies/pixiehollow.com.
                next,you find the game “Create a Fairy”.
                and last of all, (when your done creating your fairy) you will suddenly join the game fpr about 20 to 25 minutes, then you can do it all over again! 😀

              I heard one but marigold says its a rumor. 😦 then she was never seen again,her last blog was on feb. 1st but the date is already past. 😦 (January 31st) sadly,most people have lost hope,but I for all have not, if anyone has ANY ideas how to get Disney to re-open the hollow,please reply,thx

              i miss the hollow. it was the only game i could really be who i really am…

              …instead of doing weird stuff around people when I’m bullied. so when i played PH, i could act normal cause knowone could bully,hurt, or do stuff mean. it was the best game in the whole entire world…
              and now its gone. 😦

            I very much agree with you,Emma! They can’t just close it and just say “oh who cares?” To all of us and then say “waddle on to club penguin.” Disney needs to reopen it,it was on of their most successful games ever,they can’t just say “bye forever.” It won’t be fair even for a second

      They are closing because they are not making enough money. They made that site for people to have fun, but, to make money also. People have stopped going on Pixie Hollow, and the owners of Pixie Hollow started losing money because of that. So that is why they shut dow the wonderful world aka Neverland of Pixie Hollow. 😦 I know how you feel. Don’t worry, I have heard that they may reopen soon. I don’t know if it is true, but it may be. 🙂

    Well if they don’t bring Pixie H back I’m never watching Disney or giving them my money again !!!! It was the only place where I could be myself……now its gone…….
    We should have at least a little ceremony to honor Pixie Hollow. The memories made by that world deserve it.

    I will always miss pixie hollow… I started playing when I was about seven or six with the old pixie hollow and I remember first getting sparrow men. sadly I forgot this account and three years ago in august 21st I created a new account as Crystal Morningtwirl, Iris Moongem, and Cupcake Morninggem. I have had many memberships, and many friends. And nothing will compare to the loss of my BFF Hope

    Hey Marigold, I just wanted to let you know that there is a group of fairies on facebook that are trying to ‘recreate pixie hollow’

    Truthfully, I dont really see this actually making it. I think after a few months, they will probably see that they are in over their heads. But you never know!

    i also am super sad i always start crying when i read more things about the Hollow and i really want to call those disney people and yell at them to open pixie hollow AGAIN
    and i have also heard ( i don’t know if it was true) that the hollow might reopen when the new pirate fairy movie comes out.

    gaah, I’m really upset about the closing. I really love how pixies on YouTube and Facebook are still making videos and pixie edits of their fairies, though.
    I highly doubt that Disney will create a new Hollow, since now the younger age group is more focused towards mobile apps. I only hope that Disney gets more creative than just making new versions of Where’s My Water, cause that seems to be the only thing that they are doing right now.

    OMG OMG OMG LOOK I WAS JUST THINKING ABOUT PIXIE HOLLOW AND I SEARCHED CREATE A FAIRY AND FLY AND I CLICKED ON ONE OF THE LINKS AND GET THIS IT BROUGHT ME TO THE PIXIE HOLLOW SITE WHERE WE PLAY IN THE VIRTUAL WORLD I WAS LIKE YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY .THERE WAS A PINK BUTTON WHICH SAID START AND THERE WAS ALSO A VERY NICE PICTURE IN THE BACKGROUND.but when i clicked start nothing happened i WAS SAD AT FIRST BUT THEN I REMEMBERED THAT TODAY MY INTERNET CONNECTION WAS SLOW SO MAYBE IT WAS NOT LOADING BC IT DID WENT INTO A LOADING SCREEN NOT THE SAME WHEN WE PLAY IN THE VIRTUAL WORLD BUT THE LOADING SCREE IN THE FAIRY WEBSITE.     i grew up with toon town and pixie hollow and now they just close them that sucks. they say its to focus on new game like club penguin . no one cares about those games. old games are better than those new games.

    I really miss pixie hollow too, but that doesn’t mean that we have to blame in on the people that shut it down. I know it’s hard to let it go but hey it might open back up one day. Just remember: Never give up hope. (P.S I emailed club penguin once and got a email back so maybe we can email them about pixie hollow lol)

      marigold,just cause everyone else THINKS PH is gone 4ever,it is not… 🙂 I found a glitch onPH.com/disneyfairies/create a fairy and fly (yes u have 2 type ALL that 4 it to work) then there’s a game called “create a fairy” u click that,once yr done “creating your new fairy”, then it brought me into the game!!! :-D, thx yr pixie pal,julie tulipblossom

      I know, right! Why only give us one option? I think they are trying to get people on Club Penguin ALL THE TIME. You know? Have you SEEN how many “Get Connected with Hallie!” previews are on Disney channel!?? ALL of them are based on some “FREE” party for Club Penguin! I bet they could find some other way to get people to play besides DELETING other websites. 😦 PH was my life.

        Yeah. I noticed too that there are a lot of advertisements on the TV that announce Club Penguin’s special deals. There was even one that said “Create an account and HAVE FUN with your FELLOW PENGUINS.” No way. Plus, Club penguin isn’t 100% original unlike PH, can’t you see where they get the Penguin’s costumes? They get it from movies like Star Wars, etc. Nice try, Disney, but we’ll continue fighting, no matter what.

      I had a Fairy named Laurel who arrived way back in 2009. 😦 I didn’t even get to celebrate her arrival day this year. How depressing. I wish they didn’t cancel PH.

      i agree Disney made a bad move but I have an idea us pixies will raid club penguin by making a CP account and yelling out “SAVE THE HOLLOW ” And ” All because of club penguin they closed the hollow BRING IT BACK PIXIES!” we will NEVER waddle, REAL pixies fly reply me if any more ideas 😀

    I loved Pixie Hollow, the very first time they stopped selling Membership cards, I stopped playing! And then the following year, they closed the game!! And now they’re telling us to join Club Penguin! Pixie Hollow was like way better than Club Penguin! After closing Pixie Hollow, the company, ‘Disney’ has lost some of their fans… Theirs fans were heartbroken! Disney is using us for money, and when they don’t get what they want, they will closed games, and use some other better popular games for their sake. If Disney loved us and their fans, they would do what makes us happy, and closing Pixie Hollow, is probably the worst option! I loved Pixie Hollow, it was my life, it was the game that I had one of the most closest friends ever, the place where I was comfortable being in, it was my own world, a fantasy warming world… I’ll never forget Pixie Hollow and all of my friends (especially Alexia and your sister) on there…I don’t know what we can do to get Pixie Hollow now, but gold is on the Disney company’s mind, so I guess it’s a sad dead end for us.😞😞💔

    im crying! because all my five fairies : raindrop, amy , twinklebell , julie , tiny and jade are gone! they were like my best friends forever! at first when i opened the website it said pixie hollow will close oon september 19th i thought it will close only for that day and after that we can enjoy so i went to pixie hollow and i was a member i was excited but after 2 or maybe 3 days when i opened the blog of pixie hollow closing i saw the comments and fairies were saying that will it close forever and kit ‘s answer was yes! i was very sad and these days im thinking of twinkle bell ssinging a sad song in the mainland ( human world ) im so sad!why did it close why why!

    Please read this.
    Pixie Hollow might be gone but we’re still here. I suggest we all pack up our sweet memories and move to another site. I’m currently on msp (moviestarplanet) and it has a lot of freedom and not everything is for members. I am honestly in tears to hear this news. Pixie Hollow was my childhood and I’ve been on it since I was six! Anyways if you want to add me on msp here’s my username: elizabethforever

    I read some people saying that they were reopening PH either January or Febuary. lets just hope those arent lies and rumors. i really miss it and i bored without it. its hard trying to move on without PH. i cant find a game like PH. it was so unique and different and thats what made it special. no other game could compare to what PH was, and i hope, will still be (hopfully). but yeah, i miss it so awfully much. i cant help but to think about it and how great it was. and the thought that its gone just kills me. i went through so much with and without it and all i want is for it to come back so i can play it like i used to because i miss the good old days on there and i miss my friends. i really dont have any friends at school. PH was the only place i really could do whatever and be happy. now its like, im empty, like im worth nothing without PH. i want it back so much…

    there are tons of virtual worlds, but none are of Pixie Hollow standard. CP, AJ, Stardoll, Bin Weevils, none. they are slow and unattractive. Members get the most facilities. Things are not so easy and pleasant. Or, the virtual thing is not good.
    I feel really bored. I miss Pixie Hollow!

    When Pixie Hollow closed, we were not the only people who suffered. The tons of people who worked in Pixie Hollow and lost their jobs? Think about them. They are jobless now. Disney is not only cruel to us, small children but also those grown-ups.
    I still can’t say that I hate Disney. I do love it.
    BUT, I know I don’t like Mr. Iger whose decision it was. Maybe, someone should step out to make a new Pixie Hollow.

    The pixie hollow team is very rude and they took away all the fun. They think being rich is a celebration for closing the website. How dare they! I am very angry.
    PH is a part of Disney. Club penguin is boring and its all we have!

    I am so disappointed that this website is closed, pixie hollow was some of the fondest memories if my childhood. I was one of the first few who started playing the game in 2006, when I was about 7-8ish and I still believed fairies were truly real and the game was absolute magic. It pains me that Disney left the game for stupid corporational games like club penguin and all their dumb Disney apps (no offence if you play I’m just upset my childhood was ruined haha) this game was truly the place of my childhood dreams and I’m absolutely heartbroken to see it die.

    I miss all of my PH friends. one of them named Bre. ended up moving an hour and a half away from where I live, she was one of my BFFs from my old school. I moved 2 and we WHERE going to see eachother in middlschool. and she was a fair y friend of mine,too. but ever since it closed,ive never seen her in person again. Disney just cares all abou “MONEY AND MONEY AND MONEY OH MY!” :-(((

    Today I just saw a video on Disney channel of a music video called “whatever we want” and the girl singing reminded me of a fairy from the hollow named twinkle magicstone. It made me cry…we’ll I’m still crying 😭. But I know we can get them to reopen. I just know we can. Who is with me?

    I joined pixie hollow in 2012 and now its almost two years since it has closed.
    I am so sad I still have a hope that it will reopen soon. PH was just so much fun!
    as it has closed down now I am playing a game called fantage . But I will never forget ph and mail till it reopens.

    i used to play this when i was littler and i was really looking forward to playing on it again because it was so fun i just now remembered about it and now i cant play it again and now im not only sad im also kind of mad because i spent half an hour trying to find it and then i come to this so yes im really mad and sad

    well..its August almost been a year since the shut down … Walt Disney’s dream was to make kids happy but unfortunately Disney doesn’t care what their customers think. Its all about the money to them and ever since the 19th of September i just feel like something is missing..im not complete with out my online friends..as a person the game changed me and i had such great friends but now its gone..everything that made me happy..gone.. luckily i still get to talk to one but it just doesnt feel the same..disney just lost a lot of customers and i hope they realize that.

    I really hope pixie hollow will reopen. It’s my only wish. I did have a good idea to make it reopen, but now I’m not too sure that it will work. I was planning to email disney and tell them to reopen it just for a month so we could have a fashion show, with great prizes. At first I thought that disney closed down pixie hollow because they didn’t have enough money to run it properly. So I thought that everyone who wanted to enter should send three pounds (or dollars) to them so they can keep it running. Then, if we had raised enough money, they might reopen it because they had enough money! Unfortunately I learnt that it won’t quite go that way. Not at all. My friend Grace told me that. She wants to make her own computer program when she’s older, and knows the truth why pixie hollow closed down. BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It will be very unsual if it does reopen. DISNEY DOESN’T WANT IT TO REOPEN!!!!!!!! They don’t think it was pouluar enough! Of course it is! They don’t have enough money either. It’s a LOT more likely to be closed forever and be forgottten about than reopen. Disney wants to make more stuff like the movie Frozen, which nearly everyone likes. Of course, I LOVE the movie Frozen. It’s my favourite film in the entire world! But I still love pixie hollow better. And we can’t let ANYBODY forget about it! We need to come up with a better idea. It HAS to reopen.
