The 2015 Events Committee proudly presents:

Never Dove Egg Banner

Please join us as we begin celebrating Never Dove Egg Hunt! Grab your baskets and get ready to hunt – for eggs, that is! 😀

The Never Dove is a true friend to the Never Fairy. Once a year during the height of spring, animal-talents work with them to host a grand party for the Fairies of Pixie Hollow – the Never Dove Egg Hunt! Animal Fairies decorate tiny pebbles with pastel dyes to look like real Never Dove eggs, and hide them throughout the meadows for Fairies to find.

Also, we have a surprise for you all in this post. Keep reading to find out! 😉

This event includes:

  • Never Dove Egg Hunt Contest
  • Chat with Fairy Friends
  • History of the Never Dove Egg Hunt in Pixie Hollow

The events’ committee is super ‘egg-cited’ to announce our second contest of 2015: The Never Dove Egg Hunt! Read below for rules, details and flitterfic prizes! 😀

To chat with old and new friends, please visit Crystal Airshine’s Blog and Minerva’s Blog. These chat boxes are available 24/7, so please stop by whenever you have a chance, because you never know who might be waiting there to talk 😉 Also, you can have your very own “egg-cellent” party at the chat room with pixie pals 🙂

History of the Never Dove Egg Hunt

The Never Dove Egg Hunt in Pixie Hollow first started in 2009.

Sweet Pea announced the hunt under the “Events” section at the Pixie Hollow site:

“The Never Dove is a true friend to the Never Fairy. Find them all for a special surprise! There will be new springtime collections in Treetop Housewares and Bella’s Baubles for the event, and Fawn will be flying by for a visit. It is sure to be an “egg-cellent” party!”

Players who entered the game during the event got the following announcement:

Fairies could collect the following badge by finding all 32 Never Dove Eggs:

In preparation for the Never Dove Egg Hunt Event, Fawn offered the Egg Hunt Preparations quest. This quest was available to players from 26 March 2009 to 6 April 2009. The reward for completing this quest was the Fig Purple Spotted Egg:

The egg hunt continued for a week.

Following 2009, we had the Never Dove Egg Hunt every year until 2013 (the year Pixie Hollow closed). During the 2013 egg hunt, member players who flew into The Ballroom could click on the Never Dove egg to make an adorable chick hatch:

Eggs were hidden in many popular spots like Havendish Square, Fairy tale Theater and The Tearoom.

Love this event so much! We are definetly doing a good job of keeping the hollow alive :). I just wish I helped out with it more >.<. The site is awesome also!

    Fly with you, Carrie Tuliptwist

    • I agree, and without all the help from the Events’ Committee, no one pixie could do all these events alone. We’re a great team ❤

You are one of the most positive pixies I know, Carrie 🙂 Don't feel badly about not being able to help more with this event. We all get busy from time to time, and school and family definitely come first. I'll email you soon about the next event and see if you can help 😉

  10. I love your blog! You are so positive and inspirational! mind checking out my blog? It would mean a lot!! http://therareruby.wordpress.com
