Pixie Poem Challenge

Hi, Pixies!

A couple of weeks ago, the lovely and wonderful Snowflake Fancypuff announced that she was hosting a Pixie Poem Challenge (click here to read the post).

To enter the challenge, simply write a poem based off the image below:

Here’s the poem I entered:

She took a breath to clear her mind
the highest branch would do just fine
She closed her eyes and listened well
the swirling wind had truths to tell
She leaned forward to smell the breeze
the scents of frost, the coming freeze
She too felt warmth in that same wind
the embrace from a long-lost kin
She knew the time had almost come
the same wings would rise with the sun

The poem challenge ends by the end of the day today (October 30th), so please don’t delay to enter your poem! I can’t wait to read them 😀
