The 2016 Events Committee is SUPER excited to announce the first Fashion Fair of the year!!!

Sporty-Tropical Inspired / Talents’ Uniforms
August 5 – August 14, 2016

You read that right! With the 2016 Pixie Hollow Games officially beginning on August 26, 2016, the events’ committee is hosting a contest where YOU design the uniforms for each talent to wear during the games!!! 😀

For those of you who have never heard of this contest, Fashion Fair is somewhat similar to Marina’s Fashion Spotlights where pixies are given a specific theme to create an outfit around and winners are awarded flap-tastic prizes

However, unlike the one-day-only Fashion Spotlights that were sometimes impossible to participate in, Fashion Fair participants have two easy options for entering this contest:

1. Email your entry to Marigold Sunjewel (marigoldsunjewel@gmail.com)
2. Insert a link to your entry in the comments’ section of this post

Outfit entries for this contest can be in ANY form of artwork, such as: Sketch, drawing, painting, graphic design, real life pictures, etc. (Click here to see examples of entries from the 2015 Fashion Fair.)

Here are the rules:

• Your outfit must fit the theme of the Fashion Fair: Sporty-Tropical Inspired / Talents’ Uniforms. We need outfits for the following talents competing in the games: Garden, Water, Tinker, Light, and Animal.
• You don’t have to enter outfits for every talent to participate, but please don’t enter more than one outfit per talent.
• You can use several color options, but please keep the main color palette typical for each talent – like mostly green for Tinkers and mostly blue for Water-Talents.
• Like the Mainland 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, the 2016 Pixie Hollow Games will be held in a tropical location, so we need the uniforms to be sporty and geared towards warm, beachy weather. Please keep the design practical for lots of movement so no one will have to worry about losing their top during competitions 😉
• Outfits don’t have to be brand new creations, but you probably won’t win if you just enter a random picture you found of a uniform from the Pixie Hollow Games’ movie. Be unique and creative! 😀
• If you provide a link to your entry that happens to be a profile image or something else that is changed frequently, please keep the entry outfit the same until your entry has been posted below.

Again, entries for this contest can be in ANY form of artwork (i.e. sketch, drawing, painting, graphic, photo, etc.). Only one entry per pixie, per talent. You can enter the contest in two ways:

2. Insert a link to your entry in the comments’ section of this post

All entries for the Sporty-Tropical Inspired / Talents’ Uniforms Fashion Fair will be displayed below, so check back often to see all the participants!!!

After the contest has ended at the end of the day on Sunday, August 14, it will be up to the Pixie Blogging Community to vote for their favorites! There will be a separate post published with voting instructions.
