Hi, Pixies!

The Events’ Committee wants to start by apologizing for the delay in starting the 2016 Pixie Hollow Games (PHG) competitions, but strong storms this past weekend caused various technical problems for many of the committee members. Thank you for your patience and understanding 🙂

Alright, now that the PHG have officially begun, it’s finally time to show everyone what you’re made of and represent your talent by participating in the competitions!!! 😀

Let’s begin by reviewing the official list of pixies competing, alphabetized by talent then first name:

To keep the things fair, the PHG will focus on the five main talents as inspiration for the competitions (Animal, Garden, Light, Tinker, and Water).

Harvest Hustle Highest Score Competition:

Harvest Hustle is the only talent game from Pixie Hollow that is available to play via Disney’s game website. It’s a huge fan-favorite because it’s not only challenging, but loads of fun! 😀

Competition Rules: Play Harvest Hustle until you’re out of chances (or until you can’t play anymore), take a screen shot that shows your total score, and email the image to Marigold Sunjewel (marigoldsunjewel@gmail.com). You can also leave a comment below with a link to the image – just don’t leave a comment with your score, because it won’t count unless you have an image as proof.

Here’s an example of the screenshot image you need to submit for points:

Competition score images can be submitted now through the end of the day on September 7, 2016. As the score images are received, Marigold will post the scores, highest to lowest, with each pixie’s name in this post. Each pixie can submit up to 3 score images until the competition ends to try to capture the gold 😉

Scoring: Everyone who submits an image with their score will receive a point that will go towards winning the 2016 Pixie Hollow Games! Points will be awarded as follows:

• 1 point awarded for participating
• 2 points awarded for 3rd place (Bronze)
• 3 points awarded for 2nd place (Silver)
• 5 points awarded for 1st place (Gold)

Winners will be announced and posted on Marigold’s blog and the Pixie Hollow Event’s site once the competition ends.

Design the Winner’s Trophy:

When the competitions have all ended and all the scores have been totaled, the 2016 Pixie Hollow Games winner will be announced and awarded with an impressive trophy to proudly display 😀

Competition Rules: Limit 1 entry per pixie. The look of the trophy is completely up to your artistic interpretation, but it can’t be talent-specific since it’s supposed to be representing all the talents. Since the theme of this year’s PHG is tropical, there should be some sort of tropical element incorporated into the design. Trophy designs for this competition can be in ANY form of artwork, such as: Sketch, drawing, painting, graphic design, editing, real life pictures, etc.

There are two options for entering this competition:

1. Email your entry to Marigold Sunjewel (marigoldsunjewel@gmail.com)
2. Insert a link to your entry in the comments’ section of this post
